1. Order Cancellation (Physical Books)
At PustakInk, you can cancel your order for a physical book within 2 hours of placing it. After 2 hours, the order is sent to our printing partners and cannot be cancelled.
To cancel, please visit your "Orders" section in the customer dashboard or contact us immediately via phone/email.
2. Publishing Plan Cancellation
Authors may choose to cancel their publishing agreement at any time. However, the following terms apply:
- Pre-Production: If cancelled before any services have been rendered, a full refund (minus 5% processing fee) will be issued.
- In-Production: Cancellation after work has started will result in a partial refund, determined by the stage of production.
- Post-Publication: Once a book is live on marketplaces, the publishing plan cannot be "cancelled" in the sense of a refund. You may, however, request the withdrawal of your book from distribution.
3. Withdrawal of Published Books
If you wish to withdraw your book from distribution, you must provide a written request via email. Please note:
- It may take 30-60 days for all external retailers (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) to remove the listing.
- Any royalties earned up to the date of withdrawal will be paid out as per the standard schedule.
